 The Cabins

Trout Lake Cozy Cabins is nestled back in the trees just before coming into the town Trout Lake (traveling from Hood River) right off the main highway (Hwy. 141), making the cabins both convenient yet quiet with lots of privacy at the same time.  Trout Lake is a quaint little town situated in an organic valley surrounded by mountains with the main focal point being the majestic Mount Adams towering overhead.  Breathtaking views of Mount Adams can be seen directly from some of the cabins and the grounds.  Opportunities for fun adventures and activities abound within these beautiful surroundings, making Trout Lake Cozy Cabins the perfect place to escape and get away from it all.

All of the cabins are unique and special with different features to fit almost anyone's needs.  Visit The Cabins page for details.  All of the cabins feature new and very comfortable queen-sized beds, and all come with their own BBQ grill.  Satellite television and free WiFi internet service is available to all guests in each unit.  Rustic propane fire places have been installed in each cabin along with air conditioning units to make sure our guests are warm and cozy on the coldest winter nights as well as cool and comfortable on those hot summer days.  Parking is ample within steps of each of the cabins and is more than big enough to fit snowmobile trailers, horse trailers, RVs, or any other toys you may want to bring along for your trip.

Trout Lake Cozy Cabins was formerly known as Serenity's, named after the restaurant that sat on the property.  The Restaurant burned down a number of years ago.  Since the restaurant building was rebuilt, we have been excited to have Mt. Adams Pizza on our property for the last 4 years. There are also a  number of places to eat within a mile of the cabins including Trout Lake Tacos, the Trout Lake Hall, Post Office Coffee, and the Station Cafe.

The Mount Adams Ranger District is a great resource for additional information about the area and recreational activities.  Of course, having grown up in the area, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have or provide you with a "local's" tip/suggestions.  Don't be shy, we are very friendly people and will go out of our way to make sure you have a memorable stay with us!

Meet The Owners

Chrissy and I (Brock) met while living/working in Seattle.  As our relationship grew, I decided it was time to take Chrissy to Trout Lake to meet my parents and see the place that I will always call home.  It was love at first sight!  She was blown away by the beauty of the surroundings, the fresh air, the many fun things to do, and a sense of freedom that I don't think she had ever experienced before.

After a few more trips back "home" to Trout Lake, it didn't take long for Chrissy to understand that bitter-sweet feeling I had always felt when coming back for a visit.  We loved nearly every minute of our time spent in Trout Lake, but it killed us every time we had to make the trip back to reality.  Trout Lake had quickly become our weekend retreat of choice. When the opportunity to take over Trout Lake Cozy Cabins presented itself, we were quick to jump on it.  We loved the idea of the business—that we could share with others the beauty of this area and the experiences that we had grown to love so much.  The cabins were especially appealing as we felt they offered guests a much more private, intimate, and a better overall experience than  traditional hotels.

In 2016, Chrissy and I resigned our big city jobs to live and raise our son Jackson in what we feel is a much more fulfilling lifestyle here in Trout Lake. In 2019 we welcomed our daughter Brynn into this world. In addition to helping supervise the cabins alongside our wonderful management and cleaning staff, Chrissy and I are now full-time real estate professionals who specialize in the Trout Lake area as well as properties throughout the Columbia Gorge in Oregon and Washington (Click Here  to get in touch with us directly and explore real estate with us).

We are both very fun loving people who live a very active lifestyle and enjoy spending time with family and friends. We have owned these cabins since 2013 and the friendships we have developed from these cabins and the experiences we have been able to provide families have been the biggest blessing!

We look forward to seeing you soon!
